Translation: "Plaster Wall"

The Nurikabe, as its name suggests, is a gigantic, anthropomorphic slab of solid, yet sometimes wet concrete that is known to impede travelers at night without the victim even noticing. Another signature trait of the indestructible Nurikabe, is that because it is made of plaster, it can shift and alter its shape to protect itself, if not its friends. (Example: Igloo, house, tee-pee, etc.)

I *love* nurikabe. They are without a doubt my favourite Japanese spirit. Interesting, I didn't know about their wet, plaster aspect. I had heard they they were invisible, and could only be "exorcised" so to speak, by knocking on the lower part of the wall. (Hittin' him in the nads! Huhuhuh! Whoo! :slow:)
